Every day, rain or shine, a small community teams come together with a big purpose: to care for our local environment by removing litter from our beaches, playgrounds, and all public spaces. We only rest on Sundays. We dedicate our time, energy, and resources to create cleaner, healthier places for everyone who calls these islands home.

Why this work matters

Protecting our oceans: Every piece of trash that reaches the sea has a ripple effect on marine life, water quality, and coastal economies. By collecting ocean rubbish and beach litter, we prevent plastics and pollutants from breaking down into microplastics that harm fish, birds, and other wildlife. Our efforts help maintain the beauty and health of our coastline for generations to come.

Safeguarding public spaces: Parks, promenades, and public areas are the heart of our community. Litter free spaces invite families to walk, play, and connect—while reducing hazards from broken glass, sharp metal, and unhealthy waste. A cleaner environment is a safer one.

Building a culture of care: When we pick up litter, we’re not just removing trash—we’re teaching responsibility, stewardship, and respect for our shared spaces. Our actions model how small daily choices add up to big collective impact.

What we do, every day

We organize regular clean-ups: Our dedicated team collects debris along beaches, shorelines, and park pathways. We aim to cover key areas consistently and responsibly, with attention to safety and efficiency.

We educate as we go: Clean-up isn’t just about removing waste; it’s an opportunity to share simple, actionable guidance on recycling and waste reduction. We discuss which items can be recycled, how to properly dispose of hazardous materials, and the importance of reducing single-use plastics.

We partner with the community: We welcome volunteers, local businesses, schools, and council partners to join in. Collaboration strengthens impact, spreads awareness, and fosters a sense of shared ownership.
